Rent FX was founded by Chris Kirby in 1984. Though it started much earlier in the heart of the midwest. Born in a little suburban town near Chicago. That's where I grew up. I'm that kid who lives over on the corner. You know the type, long haired musician, playin' way too loud and way too long. That punk with his long hair and that bunch of damn hippies. Making all that noise playin' in a rock & roll band. This fueled a lifelong intrest in audio, combined with the realization that I had to work in the construction business also, cause that's what musicians have to do to eat. But eventully I turned it all into a small buisness. Living the American Dream in the USA. Rent FX is backed with 20 years of industry experience and then some.

We use both Tascam DA-88's or Alesis XT-20's as the tape medium and a Soundcraft 1624 for a console. The studio can also be used to demo any rental pieces to insure you of your satisfaction.
